Theatre
Winter Haven has been around and has prospered for over thirty years,
and it’s all because of people in the community who give their time
and talent for the love of theatre. People like YOU. 
This
party is held each year in the late summer or early fall. It’s a
great time to meet new friends, eat and socialize without having
a project to work on. In fact, at this party, the staff serves YOU.
The highlight of the evening is a theatrical ‘send-up’ of the ‘technical
difficulties’ experienced during the season. Be sure to join us
for a good time! 
After
the final performance of each show at TWH, we have a Strike Party!
This gives everyone the chance to finish the play-making experience
by “de-constructing” the set, “un-hanging” the lights and putting
away props and costumes. Food is provided at the end. Strike Parties
are a great way to get involved if you have limited time, and want
to meet other people who are interested in theatre. 
In
addition, about once a month, TWH staff members take a volunteer
to lunch. It’s a tangible and tasty way to say thanks for all the
hard work! Other volunteer rewards include complimentary tickets
to the shows, TWH crew t-shirts, and a great sense of accomplishment
for a job well-done!
